During the workshop (which was held virtually), it was emphasized that the “Mudad” platform is one of the initiatives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 aimed at improving the contractual relationship between workers and employers, and it was launched in partnership between the General Organization for Social Insurance and Takamol Holding Company, and under the supervision of the Ministry of Resources Human and social development, and support from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

The workshop speakers indicated that the platform aims to digitally transform all administrative and financial processes in institutions, to complete all procedures in record time and professional ways, and the aim of all of this is to guarantee the rights of both the worker and the employer.
Accordingly, the platform supports the process of digital transformation by creating renewable digital solutions that contribute to creating a flexible and effective work environment in the labor market, through the automation of salary payment, processing, and protection of wages.

They also made it clear that the Kingdom applies, through the "Mudad" platform, two systems, namely the "salaries management system and the wage protection commitment system".
As for the "Salaries Management System", it was pointed out that it is a system for automating the salary processes of small and medium enterprises, while the wage protection system is a government system for protecting wages and documenting contracts, which helps preserve the rights of the contracting parties to achieve a safe and attractive work environment.

Madad also provides several services through the payroll system, including (enterprise data management), as the system provides all facility data directly through the social insurance system, and (employee management), where the system provides all employee data directly Through the social insurance system, in addition to electronic payment and salary management, where the owner of the facility can save and process salary data for his employees with the addition of deductions and the provision of allowances and rewards.
Regarding the compliance system (wages), they mentioned that the program was launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in 2013 and was later developed in line with "Vision 2030", to enhance the commitment of establishments to raising workers' wage files, monitoring violations and commission rates, and addressing justifications, and the system in general targets All private sector establishments, with a gradual obligation over certain stages.
They concluded by saying that adherence to these two systems achieves a safe work environment by raising transparency, preserving the rights of the contracting parties, reducing wage disputes between establishments and workers in the private sector, the ease of creating and documenting employee contracts, and knowing the percentage of the facility's commitment.
